Looks nice! I really like this kind of stuff. I've built cabinets and odd'n'ends before, but I'm not really set up to build quality furniture.
Thanks. I've always been a small project kind of guy and this is my first furniture project in a very long time.

Patio and deck add on almost complete...
Nice. A new deck is on the long range to-do list. I just might have to consider some pavers in conjunction with it. Well, more pavers. We have a small garden path on the front side of the deck that we planned to redo with pavers. Your project makes me think of adding more out back.

More progress this weekend and tonight. The tricky thing about making a curved table apron is, table saws are flat. So first thing Saturday, I made a couple of cradles (more MDF!) to hold the apron stable and level while I cut the tenons on the table saw. One of the cradles wasn't quite spot on level but a little hand work with a shoulder plane set the uneven tenons right. So far, so good. Tonight, I made the rear apron and tweaked the tenons to fit the legs. It's now dry assembled and standing on its own four feet.

Just a taaaaad more tweaking and it'll be time for glue up. Then it's on to final shaping of the tabletop.
