Hey guys, I got this email today...

Greetings...

Here's a quick note to let you know that we have finally received a small shipment of Tatuaje Black Label cigars. We have allotted some for in-store sales (they are on the shelves now) and for online sales through our website. They are sold as singles in-store and on our website in 3-packs only.

3-packs on our website will go on sale Monday (5/26) morning at 10:00am. Although our website will allow you to order more than one, we are limiting sales to only one 3-pack per customer. As you know, the demand for these cigars is much greater than the availability. This will allow as many of you as possible the chance to get these cigars. You will find them on our website here: Tatuaje Black Label

For our home-town people, I would like to let you know that we will be closed Sunday and Monday to observe the Memorial Day holiday. We will be open all day Saturday, and will re-open again Tuesday morning at 9:00. Also, because of the demand for the Tatuaje Black Label cigars, it may take a few days to process all of the orders, so please be patient.

Thanks, and I hope you have a smokin' weekend!

this may be way too late.. On my way up to the lake region in new hampshire i stopped at two guys smoke shop in salem. (sat) They had 2 or 3 jars left and they were actually selling them for 224 or something like that. Thier standard 10 % of box price. There was a nub event and I dont think many noticed it. If you want to see if they still have them their number is (603) 898-2221.
I had no internet access all weekend / thank goodness.

My local B&M just got what they call a "modest shipment" in of the jar so I had to pick one up:stretchgr. It cost $247 but it was worth it.
Around here, there is just too many people with too much money. The B&M's that get this kind of stuff can charge whatever they want and get away with it. I paid $285 and they wanted an extra $45 for the jar which I passed on! They wouldn't even do the usual box discoount on these. They got three jars in and don't expect more any time soon.

I'm still on a waiting list for another B&M for a jar when they get theirs. If anybody is looking send me a PM with what your willing to pay and your cell phone number. I'll have to commit the same day to get them to hold it for me, you'll get a call with exact info before I do anything.

I also, overstocked a bit with what I bought last night, so if anyone dosn't mind the 15.90 price plus shipping PM me and I'll get some out to you. I bought 33 sticks and only plan on keeping about half that. The rest is sell or trade for something I can't get localy.

Well, I haven't had one yet, that could change up or down!

To be honest I was a little surprised at the price myself because they normally aren't the cheapest around by far. If anyone lives near Richmond, VA though the store is Havana Connections and they still have a few in as of yesterday, but it is walk-ins only and one per customer.

They did the supply versus demand thing. I believe Pete set the price at $12.99 per stick. Those folks that charge more because they can don't get my business. Its just like the B&Ms that over charge on the Opus X... Let them charge $25 for a 9 cigar. I won't pay it.

On a side note, the $247 for the jar is the right price. Nice pick up!!!

I admire your position, but sadly around here the choices are to pay the fairy man, or don't take the ride. So I end up paying an extra buck or two for smokes to get stuff I can't find on line for cheaper.

They still work out well for trade though, because when I find someone in a cheaper area for smokes, I overvalue what they paid for theirs so it still works out even. Hell, just part of the cost of not owning a snow shovel!

Anybody smoked these yet? Are they worth a whirl now or are they too young to drive?

Also, anybody know if these will get released again, or if this is a one shot deal?

I read somewhere that i think maybe pete recommends antoher 8 months of age in the jar before smoking. but with all the excitement, i doubt i'll be waiting 8 months just to try one...once i get them.

The first four months on mine will be easy. The rest of the way to eight or more will be the more difficult. Scott on second thought instead of sending it to you when I get back I'll send you one when I tear into the foil. I'll leave them be in the jar until 8 months.

Mitch, as far as I've read this with a one time deal. He will still be giving out the 3 packs out as special event gifts or something.

I have smoked a couple, they are pretty good smoke, there may be some aging potential, they are just a touch harsh. I have not been able to get a hold of a jar, if I ever do I will age them, but since I have only been able to get 6 so far, I am going to smoke 'em up...
