BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What do you do if you cut it and the draw test is bad?
None at all. I've done this plenty of times. Just be aware that this doesn't always solve the problem. It could be a construction issue which means the only real option will be a draw poker. You'll find that 65%-ish is much prefered overall around here. -

What a joke. Here's my take on what I see in that release. Gurkha sent some smokes to the Navy earmarked for the folks who did the Osama job. A far cry from "Seal Team Six celebrates with Gurkha". -

Matt, it really doesn't matter what the crystals are designed not to go over. The problem is that they can't suck up humidity. I won't go into the nitty gritty, but even if they are designed not to go above 70% the environment can still go over 70% at which point the crystals can do nothing... -

Yes and no. While I agree with Viva's last statement to some degree, I do believe the smaller ring gauge sticks have a more concentrated flavor. If you are talking about smaller in length, with ring gauge held constant then no. -

Well, I'm not really a fan of the crystal style humidifiers. They don't regulate two ways like beads do, they just release moisture. So for seasoning, by all means. Beyond that, assuming the cooler has a good seal as it should, they may be more of a pain than anything else. As to the sponge in...
