• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Any Other Woodworkers on BOTL?

I will have to dig it out to see specifically which router it is. Your set up looks sweet. Next time I'm off work (Friday) I'll check to see what it is. I'm on nights so it'll be late when I dig it out.

    Any Other Woodworkers on BOTL?

@PetersCreek , I still have to figure out how I want to set up a router table. I have a router that I purchased maybe 10 years ago. I tried using it freehand, you can guess how that turned out! Anyway, that'll be my next project, digging out the router and figuring out a table for it. Any...

    Any Other Woodworkers on BOTL?

Starting off simple. Since I just put this top heavy drill press in the shop, and have an enthusiastic 11 year old son, I bolted in broader feet for stability. Front to back seemed stable as built, side ways was more easily wobbled. It gave me the opportunity to try out the new machine too!

    Do you freeze?

I've not had any live beetles come thru from either of the two main vendors for leaf. Plenty of dead ones and eggs (or what I assume to be eggs) but nothing alive so far. Let us know how they resolve this for you, inquiring minds want to know....

I agree with and understand this part. I didn't know how to interpret the info about how far to rotate the stick, 90 degrees vs 110-120 degrees. Which of those do you find preferrable?

Today's smoke is fresh off the table. Some piloto seco, Brazilian Mata fina, Dominican ligero and binder all wrapped up in American CT leaf.

Nice video Blake, thanks for sharing. My dog even responded, he went from snoring to jumping up and howling and looking out the windows at about 24 to 25 minutes in!

Remember to take notes on your blends. The real nightmare is when you light up a smoke and you're like "This is awesome! Let me see what I put in this one...ohhh, no notes on this one...dang..."
