• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Kel Tec P32

Ron, I've been doing a little reading (probably a dangerous idea), and some forums talk abut the P32 having rimlock problems. What are your thoughts? Is that only on older generations? Is it real or Memorex? TIA.

    12 Gauge Pump Recommendations?

Not much chance of a photo like that: our son is 31 :halfgrinw. Seriously, thanks for the suggestions, and I welcome any more that might come along. Is it possible and worthwhile to buy shotguns on line, or should/must I stick with a local dealer?

    12 Gauge Pump Recommendations?

So my wife wants a 12 gauge pump shotgun for home protection. I would like to keep the price as low as possible, since (I hope) the gun will be shot only occasionally at the range and otherwise will sit unused. Recommendations and approximate prices would be appreciated. I assume that the...

    Pocket Pistols

It's an appealing gun, but with a loaded mag, it was about twice as much as a 380 and even more compared to the 32. I plan to carry in pants pocket, so weight is important.

    12 Ronsons for $17!

Here is Shnoop's reply to my suggestion that the cc information was being stolen internally: "Thank you for getting back to us. We are a family owned and operated business. As such, if credit card numbers were stolen as a result of placing an order on shnoop.com, there is no possibility that...

    Kel Tec P32

Under $500. I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

    Kel Tec P32

Hey Ron, is that why you chose the 32 instead of the 380, or were there other reasons? Just curious, since I'm in the market for a mouse gun and trying to decide what to get.

Does anyone have experience with any of the Diamondback 380 series?

Wine connoisseurs post your current favorites and vintage

I don't think it's been on TV since cable was invented. I think it was on back in the late '60's to early '70's. Far more wine made it down his throat than into his recipes...

    12 Ronsons for $17!

So I got back the standard reply: "Thank you for following up on this with us. We take all matters relating to privacy issues seriously and we certainly take heart with our customers who experienced fraudulent charges on their credit cards, as we understand that it can be an extremely...

    12 Ronsons for $17!

I had 2 entries: a charge from Paris for just under $40. and a related international fee of about $1.50, on a debit card. Fortunately, 1) they canceled that card immediately, and 2) it is on a tiny account that I use just to buy occasional cigars, etc., so there is never much money in it, and I...

Had a bottle of '08 Running With Scissors (no kidding, that's the real name) Cabernet Sauvignon that was truly remarkable.

    12 Ronsons for $17!

SONOFABITCH!!! :angryteet Just checked my account and, sure enough, there was a bogus transaction from France! Called the bank, disputed the transaction, and they are replacing the card. Fargin' bastidges... :crying: I sent a nastygram to shnoop.com, telling them that their "security" is an...

New Cigar Brand - Online Only or B&M?

+1. I smoke at local b&m's all the time. I buy singles there, and if they are having a sale, I buy boxes there, as well. I also buy boxes on line. No conflict. B&M's offer service and charge a premium for it. Etailers offer low price with zero frills. I support both and appreciate what...

How many of you have a S.T. Dupont lighter

My wife was watching a rerun of Sex and the City last night, and I was amused to see Big light Carrie's cigarette with an X-tend/MaxiJet. FWIW.

    Gun Shows

Actually, I was looking at the rules for gun shows, and it looks as if you can't buy a handgun at an out-of-state gun show. My legal residence isn't in PA, so I guess I'll pass on the Valley Forge and Allentown shows. Bummer... :angeryell

Ditto. Theoretically, 70% is SUPPOSED to be optimal for long term aging, but who knows? :dunno:
