BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It wasn't my blend... I replied to @Dominican56 recipe that peaked my curiosity. I would assume it's leaf counts as that's how I tend to blend but some of the guys are a bit strict and go by weight, making it a truer ratio since leaf sizes vary so. Edit: In the end I believe we all need a...- Jim D

So today I added CV Criollo Ligero (.5 leaf) to the mix and it lost its smoothness. That one's out on this mix. Next time I'll try either Piloto Cubano or Nicaraguan Habano ligero to the mix to see if they play well together. Edit: Of course this is all my opinion, you may like something...- Jim D

So I rolled my first T13 blend and smoked it today. It was very simple just to see what all this T13 is about. I put in some Cibao Valley Vuelta Abajo Seco with it. This was bound and wrapped with LO Ecuador Shade Seco. The smoke was very smooth. Now I'm going to try a couple different ligeros...- Jim D

Container/towel
I wouldn't store them with a wet towel. As you bunch, bind, and wrap you may want a damp towel so the leaves don't get overly dry and crackly while working them.- Jim D

I'm often in the same boat with the heads. As you critique your work, like you are doing now, you will adjust and improve . While bunching, do you feel for bumps or loose/void area before binding? Then do you adjust to fill those gaps? Welcome to the obsession of rolling your own!- Jim D
