BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Homeroller's Recipe Sharing app idea
Fellow BOTL @andy has made a trial app to log info regarding cigars. I haven't tried it yet but he explained that we could add any new cigar (and leaf recipe/ratio) as we go if it is not already in the program. Sure. As a homeroller, I was thinking of linking this in the home roller's "Blending Thread" to see if the rest of the guys would start using it. That way we could all expand our library of info regarding the blends we've rolled collectively.- Jim D

If the end user were a homeroller, would he or she be able to add their homerolls or would they have to be submitted as an edit? I guess the question is can anyone using this customize their copy to what they are smoking by adding all the pertinent info?- Jim D

Blending Thread
I had a pleasant surprise on a trial blend today. It was rolled in the " @Hopduro Method" of less is more...:) 1 Piloto Cubano Seco 1 T13 viso. Bound and wrapped in EC Seco wrapper leaf. The surprise was a smooth anise / black licorice jelly bean flavor that came to the front about half way...- Jim D

Adventures in home rolling
Tomorrow it will be one CVVAHS leaf all the way through with 2 T13 visos up front and a Cibao Valley Criollo ligero in the back half. I know as individual cigars, (1 CVVA Habano seco and 2 or 3 T13 visos) or (1CV Criollo ligero and .5 CVVA Habano seco) are both good smooth smokes. Now I want to...- Jim D

I really enjoy the flavor the T13 brings. It does seem, on the two occasions I've had it with the CV Criollo ligero, to have a kick of nicotine. I'm not sure whether to credit one or the other leaf, or if it's putting the two together that kicks my butt. Or I'm just a light weight....- Jim D

So this maybe should go in the blending thread but it feels more like an adventure in home rolling so here goes. Y'all remember @blisscigarco talking about the CV Criollo Ligero and CVVAHS blend being the bomb? I agree with him and wanted to add my new T13 viso in there but it didn't turn out...- Jim D
