I let mine die with diginity most of the time.

If I'm near a firepit, then I give it a viking funeral and send it Valhalla!

I never crush mine out. I sometimes let it sit and die out, but I don't want to leave it laying around the property for the kids to get into.

Most of the time walk in the house and give it a gold fish funeral.

I smoke on either the porch or deck and when I'm finished I put the nub on the grate of my little charcoal grill. Then when I've finished grilling the next time I drop the assortment of 'gars down on the smoldering coals. Always makes a nice smell.

Plants seem to love them, so it's tossed into the garden or compost, depending on season. Bugs hate them, so I bust a few into a juice bottle, to later infuse with water and a surfactant, which get sprayed on plants the bugs love most. i.e. FOOD plants.

Besides, it's fun to unfold the fanned filler.

I usually drink water while I smoke so I either dust the nub in a snow bank or douse with a little water then place in my compost bin.

I usually put in in the ash tray and bury the lit end in the ash to make it go out faster.

I have been known to eat a few though...

I do the same. But I want to know what you do with the bands while you're driving?

I actually have saved the butts shortly after smoking, waited until it was cool, broke it up, and smoked it in my pipe... if you like a good English blend, try a La Flor Dominica Double Ligero and smoke it... wow!
