My trusty Xikar double blade never lets me down. But from time to time I will use a V-cutter for a change of pace and a punch on smaller sticks.

I voted double guillotine, although all I've ever used are the cheapie single gillotine and my Xikar X1. Never had the chance to try any of the others.

straight cut with a straight-razor. guillotine if need be, but everything else is a crime against tobacco and the well-thought out construction.

Last month was my first experience with a "V" cut. It was done at a cigar bar and it looked like it was done with a miniature chainsaw.

I later discovered a Wolf "V" cutter and my opinion has changed 180 degrees. This cutter cuts very clean!

Howdy All:

I hope you are well.

I normally go to my Palio but tonight tried the Xikar Punch and really enjoyed the experience. Need to try it again.

Best regards, tony

I didn't like my scissors that much when i first tried them, but i got used to them and nowadays using anything else than my scissors feels a bit strange.

I typically use my punch, but Taking a little advice from fellow BOTL'ers I've starting using different cuts with different sticks!
