I just finished a dozen oysters on the half-shell with a mignonette sauce ( Duvel Ale, fresh ground black pepper and shallot).

I served these with Duvel Belgian Golden Ale.

Tonight's dinner was chili with rice. Cooked the chili for 24hrs, was a mixture of beef, turkey and pork.

Cooked the rice with a cinnamon stick and couple of cloves to accent the chili.

boiled some eggs and made egg salad sandwiches and devil eggs. combine with beer, and ill be sleeping on the couch tonite.

Last night was clams and muscles over pasta with a garlic white wine sauce and some other seasonings. Also took some Italian bread, drizzled with evoo, garlic and parm. cheese and baked it in the oven for a few minutes. Dessert was home made brownies with 2 scoops of home made chocolate ice cream, topped with hot caramel sauce and whipped cream.
