Lots of Churchill haters on here. I personally like how cool Churchills smoke and I don't mind setting them down with an inch or two left. I especially like very strong blends in a Churchill because they are usually a bit more balanced OTT. I think Coronas are usually better for aging as they tend to be the spiciest and fullest bodied vitola in most blends.

My new favorite size is a short churchill 6x47-48. It's a perfect size but they are very rare.

I actually enjoy the longer smokes, since most of my smoking is done on the golf course these days. With two little girls, I have to mesh my two hobbies together.

I really don't like both perfecto and salomon.

I've yet to encounter a perfecto that burned well, and with salomon, I find them unattractive and would rather go to a churchill if I wanted a longer smoke.

there is a point, when you are smoking a cigar for 2 or more hours, that you just become bored with it.
Your not smoking the right churchhill then......there is somethign extremely satisfying about smoking a beautifull cigar for two or more hours at least to me. though I would have to say maybe many of us have run in to that cigar we have been saving for a special event or whatever and then the sucker doesnt draw...

I have to agree by saying there are very few Churchill sized sticks that I really enjoy.

Anything thicker than 50 is bigger than I prefer. Length, I like 7 or under generally, but sometimes you want a 3 hour cigar.

I'm actually finding that there are occasionally sticks of 60 RG that I like. I really like Nub's, for example.

But I absolutely do not like something that's 60 RG and also 7" long.

If it's fat, it has to be short.

I'm not a big fan of the fatties either. A standard vitola that I don't really ever care for is the torpedo. For whatever reason they never end up performing as advertised. "burning cool and focusing the flavor" Plus they're usually more expensive. :)

I really like Lances... And I really dislike anything over a 52/54

6x60 is by far my least fave.

Petite Coronas, I dont want to blow through a cigar in 20 minutes. I want every cigar I smoke to last at least an hour. At the same time the corona gorda is probably my favorite vitola

If it's not a Toro or a decent Robusto it's really not my thing. I do like Churchills ass long as the have a good draw as well. Just not a big "small" cigar fan.
