BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

OK, here is my review, I decided to go to the cool collected route, and not try to be funny about it.
Today is absolutely gorgeous outside, so I smoked a couple of sticks and groomed my dog.
I decided to finally try this stick, and @Glassman you're getting choked out next time I see ya for ruining such a decent stick.
Partagas from Dog Rocket Pass
Very oily sheen to it, toothy and sloppy wrapper
On the body I get a faint perfume smell
The foot I smell cognac
Cold draw
Wood
Cognac

Lit with no problems surprisingly.
1st puff was acrid
There is a terrible musty flavor that just sits on my tongue, this is awful
It's cleaning out my sinuses without even retohaling
OK it's starting to mellow on the acridness, but still doesn't taste anywhere near what a Partagas should taste like.
I'm having to spit with every puff, and the beer is not helping.
1/2 way into the 1st and I can almost taste what the cigar should taste like.

The cognac is all gone, now I just taste a musty element, something awful is still lingering on my tongue, but I am spitting less.
OK it's not just mustiness by itself now, there is bark element to it, so wet bark? Just bluck

(Honest review)
1st picture
At first it had a faint old lady perfume aftertaste in the smoke which quickly turned into a metallicy iron taste. Nothing too extreme but it was there.
2nd picture
I'm about 1/2 way through it now and it's starting to taste minty. Not like a good mint, But like a weird mint you found in grandpa's rocking chair thats been in the attic for 17 years and the fabric on the chair has a little mold growing on it. a slight burn is forming in the back of my throat and I'm getting a small headache..

The mint is still there. I'm tasting a mixture of cedar and black gun powder. My tongue is stinging now, I got smoke in my eye and my throat is still burning.
4th picture
The mint is gone but a real earthy metallic gunpowder is there. My mouth is on fire and ny headache is pounding. I would give this cigar a solid 3/10.
Acid cigarillo (blue)
I lit it up and immediatly gagged from the smoke. All I can taste is crappy toothpaste and cheap fragrance, like how a headshop that has way too big of an incense display would smell.. I was only able to stomach half of one and called it quits before I passed out.

Mystery dog rocket was an Iron Horse.
These cigars are Ecuadorian Sumatra wrap with Dominican Cuban-seed Criollo '98 long-fillers and Olor binders. Handmade / Dominican Republic.
Just a typical cheap cigar. Not mid-shelf cheap, though. I think they're like $2. Taste the Glory.

Yeah, the Partagas are a DECENT smoke, and I mentioned you because you're name was on the bag....so someone threw you under the bus, just like i'm gonna do, and hey I have to give it a fair shot right? So I gave it my best, and couldn't go any further. I honestly thought I was gonna barf at one point lol.
You made it longer than I did lol. That thing was a palette wrecker!
