Try a belt sheath at about a 45 degree angle in the small of your back - easy to conceal and I find it very comfortable.

Putting any hard object at the base of your spine is a terrible idea.

Carry it at your centerline like Craig Douglas (SouthNarc) teaches. It is simple, effective, easy to conceal, and doesn't put you at risk for paralysis.

I bought the FDE drop point, plain edge when they did the last drop for these knives. It's my current work knife. I use it every day cutting Manila and synthetic rope, cutting open tubes of cutting paste(Edge Creme), opening boxes, during lunch break, etc. No complaints at all.

it's a small leather man with a carabiner / bottle opener. Given to me after severa years with a certain contractor. Nothing special but I hone regularly and it does its job.

Nice looking knife. Although I personally won't buy a leatherman product due to their anti gun views. I find it a bit hypocritical since much of their customer base is shooters and outdoorsman.
