I made it!

It definitely required much patience and time and I think I will reserve shaving with this for special occasions. I had to completely change how I approached my normal shave. I did touch up a bit with my DE razor.

Quite nice! I've been thinking about picking up a DE shaver for some variety from the SR.

My shave today was pretty typical: the Wacker Antik 15/16 Spanish point SR, Truefitt & Hill pre-shave oil, D.R. Harris Marlborough cake, T&H Trafalgar after shave balm.

Man, I guess I'm a roughneck. My shave consists of my beard trimmer with no guard on it. Pre shower is optional. No creams or aftershave.

I do have a beard though so I only shave my cheeks and neck.

Prep: Scratched chin
Razor: Disposable blade I've been using for the last 3 years
Shave: Cheap store shave foam
Aftershave: moisturiser cos dat old razor practically waxes your face

Oh look another slope... I hate you guys. :finger:
If you are serious, I would think you should have a good selection on your local shelves. I know other countries cater to the de shavers a lot more than here in the US

Funny stuff! Thanks for the laugh. But seriously, after the initial investment you can shave for pennies a day.
