Haven’t been in my usual beer store in a while as I’ve been on a bourbon kick lately. Stopped in since I was picking up dinner from next door. Had just one of my favorites on the shelf and with 2 years on it.

Picked them up today during Twin Liquors dollar days.

One of the small local grocery stores near me has had these sitting on the shelf for the last three months. Today, they needed to come home with me. I bought all the bottles of this they had last year and almost felt bad about buying both bottles this year...almost.

Local store had all bourbon at 15% off today, so restocked a couple every day favorites. The Smooth Ambler is now 92 proof instead of 100 proof, but someone I trust said the new blend is even better.

Just picked up 2 of these in duty free at LHR. They were on sale for almost $30 off each bottle.

Not a purchase, but my old boss/also friend of mine passed by my desk today and handed me this as a gift. It’s from a distillery here in NJ that he was at on Sunday and said the bourbon was great so he grabbed me a bottle too!

I’m assuming that’s for the regular Small Batch EHT. Correct? I don’t believe the Straight Rye EHT sells that low. If it is the rye, you and I may have some things to work out.
