Opened this bottle a month ago. The slow melt of the globe really opens it up without diluting.

Got to sample a pretty rare allocation today at the cigar lounge. Yes it did taste like Maple and in a very good way.
My buddy gave me a 200ml test tube Bourbon and Rye Gift Set. I had already tried the Larceny, EWSB,and one other, but this was pretty good.

That bernheim is good, but a different critter altogether. It's been several years since I've had it though. Its wheat whiskey, not wheater bourbon. No corn in the mashbill.
If you like the bernheim, look for a triticale whiskey. I think Dry Fly from Oregon makes one.

I'm 1 away from the complete collection with the American corks. Had it, but gave the bottle to a buddy who was missing it too.

Nice! I actually had Dry Fly Small Batch Vodka which I liked, although not really a vodka fan

We've been having fun finding different whiskey.
Some local, some national. Several have been good, several have been bad.
Today we found this bottle on the bottom shelf without friends so we took it home so it wouldn't get lonely.
How was it?
I think it is good. I don't have a discerning palate though. I'll sip on another one just to make sure...
