Did you try the quick modification and remove the spring?

I sure didn't, but I'm underwhelmed by the flame output regardless, I'd take triple or quad flamer any day of the week, and since I can find them for 7-8 bucks am ok with that.

I haven't tried it myself, but the mod makes the button easier to push and gets rid of the fuel regulator.
