Ball's are sweet, with a very cool history. Personally, I feel Mido offers hands down best value (aesthetics to their own), I do not own one. We are talking a chronometer VERY easily sub 2K.
Love Ball's, especially on secondary market. Good chats my brotha! Strange not having a thread get shut down...WUS....gone down hill no doubt!

The Chinese Mechanical Watch forum ST5 project watch was one of my Christmas presents to myself:

Just started dabbling in the world of watches. Have a few right now. A Citizen Eco drive, Bulova, and my wife just got me an Elini Barokas. Never really heard of them, but the watch is cool as hell and seems really well built. Wanted a more casual strap, as to have something to wear with tshirts or something more casual.

Some great watches here.

Halel - I've always liked those omega speedmasters, I think it's on the short list for my next acquisition.

Here's the extent of my collection.

Going the geeky route today, Pebble smart watch. Far from an everyday watch for me but fun to wear sometimes.

I got myself a Laco this summer. I love the thing! It's actually calmed the addiction... for now! Which is good. More money for cigars :).
