Hello everyone. I am 33 years old. I currently work as a communications electronics technician, but have had many different jobs in the past. I have just recenly jumped into this hobby. I am divorced with 2 kids. An 11 year old boy and 7 year old girl. My other hobbies are traditional archery, brewing beer, cheese making, console gaming, bowling, pool, darts, and poker.
Welcome! If my user name didn't give it away, I am an avid brewer as well. (y)

That is an idea. I just don't have room for my current setup. Two 6 gallon glass carboys, igloo converted mashtun and a 10 fallen kettle just take up too much space. Not counting all the bottles and stir plate I made.

I have been an Electronic Technician for the National Weather Service for about 12 years now. Before that I was a radio tech in the Marine Corps.

I'm 35, divorced with a live in girlfriend and 2 Boxers. If I'm not at work I am usually fishing (Bass mostly), hunting (archery/rifle), camping, guns, hiking or anything outdoors with the GF and pups.

I'm a prison librarian, mainly. I also work part time at my local public library. I'll be pursuing my MLIS & MEd this coming fall. Outside of my typical 12 hours of work, I watch Netflix (currently stuck on Mad Men), meet friends for drinks and enjoy craft brews. I'm also a fountain pen collector/user, and I do write handwritten letters. So I correspond in some of my free time. I'm also an A.F. & A.M., so I go to lodge when I'm able. Of course, I spent time with my girlfriend and family. Family is very important to me and I'm very family oriented. Between work and life responsibilities, I rarely get to enjoy most of these things, but I certainly take advantage when I can.

I'm currently in a techical supply chain role, my background is mechanical/manufacturing engineering.

Outside of work I'm working towards my MBA. I will be done in 12 weeks! Before grad school, when I had more time, my hobbies included homebrewing, hunting, fishing, shooting, mountain biking, and hiking. I've been married for 5 years and we just had our first child 2 weeks ago!

Ive been a certified structural welder for 10 years. Been turning wrenches on heavy equipment for almost 3.
I'm a firearms instructor, and i play guitar in the worship team at church.
I have tons of different hobbies that i rotate through but they all involve working wth my hands. Carving, woodworking, machining, electronics. I'll get excited and give most anything a try

I'm also a fountain pen collector/user.
I've got a small collection of fountain pens.. a couple of "nice" ones (visconti, mont blanc, etc.).. but the ones I think I like the most are some of the "vintage" pens I have picked up on fleabay and at estate sales over the years.. I got a great old parker fountain pen in an auction a couple of years ago from the 1970's that I paid $9 for shipped.. Its plain, and there is certainly nothing "special" about it, but it is far and away my favorite.. writes like a dream..

I've probably got a dozen lamy's laying around that I use as "daily" writers.. Love those pens.. affordable, write well, built like tanks..

I rarely pick up a ball point or a roller ball pen anymore..

Welcome! I play guitar on the worship team at church too. There is a thread around here for guitar players to show off their gear. When you find it would love to see your rig

Can't help but notice all the sales pros here!

Nice!

I'm 32, no kids, no pets, and recently resigned from my employer. Currently in the process of moving from HI to CA, planning on taking the rest of 2017 off to rebalance before jumping back in.

In my free time I like to work out (lift heavy weights), travel, smoke cigars, and pretend I know how to swing a golf club / play a guitar, LMAO.

Anything else, just ask!

I have a few high end pens (Visconti, Montblanc, Pelikan). I have a small vintage collection as well, my favorite of my vintage being my Parker Vacumatic. My typical daily/workhorse pen is my Lamy 2000, though I rotate it on occasion to show my other pens some love and also to let it rest a bit. My total pen count is probably near 80ish, counting my inexpensive Chinese pens.

As for ballpoints.. they're the devils ink sticks lol

Morning all! FNG here from Kansas City. I'm been a collision repair technician and painter for 18 years now. I've pretty well painted everything with wheels. From huge ass caterpillar dump trucks and bull dozers to Award winning Model A's. Motorcycles to transit buses. I love what I do. I've got 4 kids 13,12,10 & 8. My 8 year old is my only girl. Full blooded daddy's girl too! Been married for almost 15 years. I like jeeps, guns, fishing, bike riding, and just relaxing with a cigar and cheap whiskey. Lol. My wife and kids are everything to me. Friends are a close second.

Retired from a telecommunications company in the Chicago suburbs. Moved back to rural Northern Minnesota. Too young to just sit on the porch so I decided to repair computer (lots of screwed up machines out there). Bookkeeper, president, tech guy, and "whatever else needs to be done" @ my local church. Enjoy astronomy and geology. Just started cigars and enjoying my newest hobby. Very relaxing to do some bible study, drink a beer, and smoke a fine cigar out on the deck.

Interesting read here! I'll add to it.
I'm new to pipe and cigar smoking, but i support my new hobby with an online business I started selling, of all things, beard care products :woot: I also buy and sell antiques for extra monies, and I collect, repair, and sell pocket watches as a hobby. I also dig collecting precious metals like gold and silver bullion.

Actually, now that I've written that all out, I can't help but realize how much better all ofbthose activities would go with a nice smoke...
