BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Yup.....it wasnt just the CA folks who thought the Upmann was one of the most consistent pyramides. Was the top rated 2 vitola on a popular cc forum as well. Never had the HdM or Punch DCs though, but not eager to run out and try me either. -

Favorite marca?
6 months to a year ago I would've said Partagas. Today, it's H Upmann. Love the #2, and the Mag 46 and SW put it over the top for me. Upmann profile just hits the sweet spot for my palate. Partagas would be #2, and Monte and Cohiba would be battling it out for #3. -

Yeah, don't feel sorry for me...that was my attempt at being dramatic, which clearly was a fail. I won't have any problems....plenty of nice IPAs around here to fill the void of the Sucks Holiday Ale.... And soon enough, the 2nd batch of Sucks will on the shelves anyway :santa2: -

Laurelwood Gearhead IPA... I think I've grown spoiled from all the Lagunitas Sucks....as this Gearhead is good, but not great. Saw 3 more 6'ers of Sucks on sale at the store today....even though I had a couple left...I couldn't resist buying at least one...so I did. Don't know if that's good... -

Trappistes Rochefort 10... Man, would this be a fine pairing with a RASS with the fruity notes. I had the 8 last weekend, and found it almost too sweet.....the 10 though, the alcohol balances out that sweetness nicely, so it's not overwhelming. Wouldn't buy the 8 again, but the 10? Absolutely. -

Smoking a 2001 RG CE as I type.... Brought it in the garage with me to smoke while I was putting away boxes/Xmas lights etc. Wasnt expecting much, and if anything due to the year, it was a plugged cigar. BOA ebanking
I've been a BOA customer for 10+ years now, and have been inside a bank branch less than 5 times I'd guess during that time. Non BOA ATM fees are about my only complaint, but BOA is everywhere, so it's not a huge issue. I don't do any financing with them, but they have my main checking account...- KPP

What's Being Drank This Weekend
Well....besides the fact that it did indeed get ugly Larry (don't recommend that many stouts in one sitting to anyone btw!)....it was still quite the experience. What I was able to conclude essentially, is that Deschute Abyss and Founders KBS are both in a class unto themselves. The others... -

So far...I've disrespected the Scotch.....and most recently (last night) I disrespected the Stouts. Drinking anything tonight will be tough, but I'm gonna power through. Happy New Year, but remember, don't disrespect the booze. -

2010 Deschutes Abyss Walking Man IPA Fremont Barrel Aged Abominable Ale Founders KBS Firestone XV 15th Anni Sadly....the one that was the least impressive, is the one that was the most expensive. The Firestone is way overpriced. Far too sweet, and too much booziness up front. Almost a maple... -

Tomorrow night....it's the Stouts, and then New Years Eve, the Belgians. This pic is only my contribution......my buddy is bringing down a few bottles to contribute to each night as well. I've got a feeling tomorrows Stout session could get f'ugly.....there's some ABV behemouths in that... -

Here's a couple others to keep an eye out for Dude, if'n u haven't already had em' that is... Flying Dog Double Dog and He'Brew Lenny's Bittersweet RIPA.....both of which I found after moving on from DFH 90....and preferred each over the DFH. For me tonight....still working my way through... -
PumKing Pie Stout
Sounds interesting...although the Southern Tier Pumpking wasn't for me....I'd still give this a try if I found it. But be honest Larry, have you found ANY craft beers that you didn't find tasty?...lol
