+1 The spice and power kicks up a little bit in the second third....and the sweetness can probably be attributed with the Rosado wrapper! CA gave this a 93+ (if memory serves) and for once I agree with them! :wtf:

Great review, and I'm convinced after smoking probably a box of these over the years, that you got a dud in regards to the draw. If you ever have the chance to smoke a HL maduro, please do so!

Agreed, and I would not recommend these for my first Viaje! Viaje are probably the worst cigar to smoke ROTT IMO, and these are one of my least favorite from them. If you can find a holiday blend or any WLP I would give them a try.

Smoke them, love them! My favorite is the Belicoso XXX PR.....http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=59568&highlight=opus The most important thing is to let them sit and age (at least a year IMO) as with most cigars. If you can find them for around $10 a stick, buy a fiver...

I'm hoping that Viaje (much like the Zombie, Skull & Bones etc.) will re-release the Lancero after selling out so fast.

I think it's the natural ammonia you are tasting because the tobacco is "sick" and still fermenting and way too young/green to smoke. Give these some down time in the humi and you should be fine.

Interesting....I am not a big fan of Room 101 at all, but maybe this is worth a shot when production hits. Flavors seem a little bit like the Tatuaje La Riqueza, which is a very good thing!

I only had the chance to smoke one of these and it was a flavor bomb, and the perfect one hour smoke.....too bad it's near impossible to get your hands on them! Great review!

If you're looking for full flavor and strength, one would be hard pressed to find a better smoke than Illusione! My favorite still to this day is the HL maduro.....great review!!!

Variety is the spice of life! I'm in Tokyo, and I can take a 30 minute train ride and smoke CC's in a club any time I want and let me tell you, there are some fantastic CC's out there (all with age on them). That said, my go to smokes are all NC's. The majority of my cooler consists of Tats...
