2014 BOTL Pipe?

They wouldn't be cheap though. Lol. I do know a guy that makes beautiful pipes. He is the same guy that made the Drew Estate pipe.

I would really like to see something like this versus a simple marking/inscription on the bowl or stem.
Not trying to take away from some of the beautiful works shown in this thread but if we're going to do it, it should be something special.

Yeah, that pipe was done by Chuck Morss he is a wonderful guy and is an amazing wood carver.

Well, with Eric's post above, I'm assuming he's given consent as long as it's done well...
Next step, start inquiring about pipe makers availability?

This would be really cool. I'm not really a pipe smoker, but I would dig one of these to hang on to until I break into baccy...

That drew estate pipe is a gorgeous pipe, but if price is a sticking point for people I can't see that being an option. In my opinion a carved pipe such as that is going to in the 500-600+ range. If he is even open to making multiples of a BOTL inspired pipes with such detailed carvings.

IMHO I kinda think that Drew Estate pipe is ugly. Great job carving, but as a pipe, I'm not feeling it.

If I were to do it a realistic price heavily depending on the complexity and finish of the pipes desired I would put mine at a $150-250 price tag.

Well what else needs discussing? Obviously style and such but that is after a commitment to actually doing the pipe.
