BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I would really like to see something like this versus a simple marking/inscription on the bowl or stem.They wouldn't be cheap though. Lol. I do know a guy that makes beautiful pipes. He is the same guy that made the Drew Estate pipe.
Not trying to take away from some of the beautiful works shown in this thread but if we're going to do it, it should be something special.
There is no emblem just the botl letters right?
Do no progress or is work being done behind the scenes?

This would be really cool. I'm not really a pipe smoker, but I would dig one of these to hang on to until I break into baccy...
That drew estate pipe is a gorgeous pipe, but if price is a sticking point for people I can't see that being an option. In my opinion a carved pipe such as that is going to in the 500-600+ range. If he is even open to making multiples of a BOTL inspired pipes with such detailed carvings.
IMHO I kinda think that Drew Estate pipe is ugly. Great job carving, but as a pipe, I'm not feeling it.

It seems like people are just letting the idea die, unfortunately
Well what else needs discussing? Obviously style and such but that is after a commitment to actually doing the pipe.
