A nice match to the Candela is the Vuelta Abajo binder ...

Perhaps it's just the batch I received, but I was unable to get enough strength out of the Vuelta Abajo binder to bind anything. Wanted to fall apart when I tried.

I haven't rolled a full batch in well over two years. Been on a two-a-day kick since New Year's 2019.
Changing it up. Here's my first full mold. I spose I'll whjack out ten one day a week, then spend the rest of the week on leaf prep.



I've got misgivings about the jolly band. Looks more like an invitation to a baby shower than an invitation to a herf.

They are indeed embossed, when I looked at brand-name bands I liked they were always done that way. I made a custom graphic and had a handheld embosser made for about 50 bucks.

Yes, I'm using a lightweight construction paper so it cuts quite easily with a basic pair of scissors.

My latest batch, all Ecuadorian Seco wrapper. They look a bit lumpy in the photo. It must be the shadows. They look much smoother in person.
