Got em washed, the membrane pulled off and rub applied.

Doing these on my Cyprus egg thing. Using apple for smoking wood as that was what I located first when looking in the basement.

And now we wait.

Damn, I ate way too much. Wife fixed potato salad and baked beans as sides.
These turned out just the way I like them, moist and tender but not falling apart. In other words; not over cooked.

Looks damn tasty. Ribs are one of my wifes favorites but i never think to grab any to try out.

I was motivated to smoke some ribs this weekend after looking at all these recent posts. Did a rack of BB's for the wife and a rack of spares for me. Turned out great but for some reason I can't remember to take pics of the finished product.

I've been experimenting with different rub recipes for ribs and have found a couple I really like but always looking for that perfect rub.
I know some people will take their bbq rub and sauce recipes to the grave.
Anybody willing to share theirs?
