  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

@Lomey I hate those dome thermostats bro. Idk if they work for you but just thought I'd tell you they are not very accurate. Mine is of by about 40 degrees.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/QUOTE]I hear ya. I was smoking the turkey hot and fast like poultry needs so not to be over powered by smoke so the smoker temp doesn't really worry me. I use a remote temp gauge when smoking other meats low and slow. Using the Weber Kettle tonight until my custom smoker gets here.

Don't know why my reply came through like that, but I'm not worried about smoker temp on poultry. Hot and fast is how I do turkey and chicken. Everything most else gets a remote temp gauge.
