BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It was a small one, and had more of a normal shape to it before it cooked - it turned into that meat-football looking thing pretty early on
Looks like a good start to me. I need to get off my lazy butt and fire up the grill and smoker!

Made a rub for ribs, so put two racks of ribs with the rub in the smoker. Had a venison roast in the freezer from the fall, put the same rub on that as well - as an experiment. Whoa!!! I will be doing that again. After 5 hours, both were stupendous!

Did you get the tri tip from Harter House in Springfield. I always Pick some up when I make it down to Springfield.Tri tip, baby! I cut it with a fork! Perfect, just regret not taking a pic of the slices.

A little rub, but mostly smoke.
Nah, i grab them from sams here in Joplin. Super cheap and already trimmed.
