  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

whats on your grill today?

I suppose that's definitely one method of grilling. Simplification. Why grill on the grill when you can just grill on the starter chimney. I like it!!

it's actually a great way to get a char on a steak since you have 800 degrees shooting out of that chimney stack when all the coals are lit. 2.5mins each side on a 1in steak = crispy outside and medium rare inside. Learned this methold from...

I first saw Alton Brown use the charcoal starter to cook some tuna. I love that website, I've learned a lot from them over the years. They don't update it often enough though.
