Fired up the Kettle with the Vortex for wings and poppers. Used both jalapenos and sweet peppers for the poppers with Bone Suckin Sauce Seasoning and rub. For the wings I used Habanero Death Dust and Stockyard Apple BBQ Rub. Best wings I've ever had. Perfect combo of spices. Used pecan for a little kiss of smoke.
To make the skin crispy I rubbed with baking powder and put wings in the fridge for an hour before seasoning. Worked out great.
Enjoy while you can, looks like a meat shortage coming up! It's my fault, just restocked on casings so you know pork butt is going to be hard to find now.
