  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Lots of times, the blades aren't really dull, they are just gunked up. You should periodically clean the cutting edges with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. Even a cheapo cutter, if it is decent to start with, can last for years, if it is cleaned regularly.

    Shnoop promptly changed its billing procedures in response to that situation. My card got compromised, but the cc co. fixed that. I have bought stuff from Shnoop a couple of times since then, and have had no further cc problems.

    Palio and Xikar both have exemplary warranties and customer service. I have and use cutters from both, plus a bunch of Xikar lighters. You can use either brand's products with complete confidence and just choose whichever you prefer.
