No worries using boxes. Just like others have said... they are wood... humidity will flow through them...albeit slowly. They may take time to acclimate to the environment, but they will. Keeping your sticks in properly stored boxes will help protect them from humidity spiking that can occur...

Is the drain hole plugged? Just like any humidor, you're trying to maintain a specific environment and seal is important. If the drain hole is not sealed you will fight agains whatever is going on in the room. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
