Made these Saturday, thought I posted it already guess not. Anyway, 2 year aged white cheddar stuffed fresh from the garden jalapeños wrapped in bacon of course. Smoked in the weber over apple and cherry wood for about 2 hours. Basted with BBQ sauce the entire time.

Damn! JJ is not screwing around this weekend!

Where did you grab that brisket at?
I have a butcher shop about 5 blocks from here. I smoke probably 3 + days a week. I grill the other days. I know I do get some discount because I am in there every other day but I can't imagine it is much. But a good butcher for a friend doesnt suck. I get better choices of beef than regular customers. Most of the time he trims stuff up for me so I dont have to at home. Great guy.

Last night, I smoked burgers and portabella mushroom caps with a mesquite/cherrywood combo in the fire box.

Today, headed to the bullfight in Tijuana, so its going to be spit-roasted adobada and carne asada tacos all day. Jeff, if you decided to save the lobsters for tomorrow, you are more than welcome to head down with us.
