Heres my story and question.... I like to make pipes as a hobby. I don't sell em..just make em and give them to friends as gifts. Because of my lack of tools I just order the pre bored pipe kits from Tinsky. I'd like to attempt to make my own stems so I'm not handcuffed to the ones he sends...

Some companies will give u tobacco samples but its usually just a pinch or two... Aka enough for a bowl or half bowl. There's just tons of pipe makers with product. I'm not sure if the deals are that great but I'm sure they're OK vs ordering online. IMO its fun for a few hrs to cruise the show...
