    Cab or No?

For every box which I also have a DB, the cab smokes are better. If a cab were not available I wouldn't let it deter me, but if it were, CAB no question.

    Cigar Humidification (Active vs Inactive)

Consistency is the key. If beads can keep the RH at a level where you find your smokes taste best, change nothing. If you have variances due to RH when using only beads, you could benefit from active humidification. I REALLY wanted my 20+ lbs of beads to be sufficient for my small walk-in...

    Which Piramide?

H Upmann #2. Easily the most under the radar Piramide. More consistent than an MC2 with great aging potential.

    Pictures in CA

I look for that as well. If its a wedding party I can understand the bride/bridesmaids not wanting to smell, but for the most part it would be nice to see pics of peoiple actually enjoyng their cigars. To each their own...

    Which 2 and why?

Monte 4 and Mag 46. The Monte is surprisingly consistent for the #1 Cubn cigar. Full, but not over the top, nice ROTT but benefits from age. Thhe Mag46 is a great go-to, and is SHOCKINGLY good with age. PSD4s and RASS both taste like tobacco, and are one dimensional. BO-ring.

If you could start over again, where would you start?

I feel fortunate to say I wouldn't do anything differently. Try as many brands & sizes as you can, then buy boxes of your favorites as time, funds and space allow. DO NOT listen to anyone else; your favorite may be a stick everyone around you don't reccommend. Case in point, I have a glass...

    Low Humidity

As long as the cigars smoke fine (in your opinion), they are at the right RH. New cigars often benefit from acclimatizing after their long journey to you. IMO give them a month and they'll be where they should be. Worry less about your RH as long as its between 60 and 70'ish, and worry more...

    Traveling to Cancun

All the above, AND the price of cigars in Mexico is eclipsed only by Canada. They ain't gonna be cheap. FWIW, I have been told you have to chase an official in the airport in order to have your passport stamped in Cuba.......

    Best Corona Gorda

If you enjoy the SLR taste profile the Series A are wonderful. Toasted tobacco with hints of oat and nutmeg. Thank God my big stick acquisition year happened to be 2006 (great smokes).

    Show/List your latest CC Purchase

Suggestion: de-cardboard those Montes and store them in an unused cab. You would not beleive the difference it makes. Cardboard pack smokes slowly take on flavors of- you guessed it, cardboard. On the other hand, my cab'd JLPs taste like RASS.

    Cigar wrappers peeling off

For another cutting suggestion, try "circumcizing" the cap rather than cutting some off. I gently cut into the upper shoulder, than rotate either the cigar or the cutter until I'm cut through mosst of he way around, then peel back and cut off any cap which is left.
