I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
citizen makes some fantastic watches. I still plan on picking up a Citizen Campanola when I find the one I want but it is discontinued. Think their temp compensated high accuracy quartz movement may be the most accurate movement in current production.
I kinda love the this thread after some Cigar maker not long ago was posting that CC's were no longer the King. I agree that there are great NC's out there but my favourites have always been Cuban. I have easy access to both being Canadian and figure I probably smoke 60/40 CC /NC.
Did a bison tri trip today. Treated it like a big steak. 3min a side at 800 for a good char on the outside then shut down the egg and left it for 20min for a perfect med rare.
I have a few and will post pics at some point but favourites are
Seiko marine master professional
Omega seamaster pro
Anonimo millimetri trillogio
Corum bubble automatic chrono
Ball Fireman night train
Harg has it bad!!!! It is good stuff I will not deny but half of what got me into bourbon and pappy was the value. Bourbon has a lot lower ceiling for price then scotch and was a great value. The best bourbon you can buy was $350 a bottle vs $20k for scotch. I knew it would only last so long...
Well it is all a matter of preferance. For me I will smoke general and Altadis stuff ahead of liga. I know many here love liga the only ones I kinda enjoy are the OR#9's. One of the very few cigars I remember hating was the Pre release T52 pig. Still the worst cigar I have smoked this...
Now I am unsure of exactly how things are put onto the list but will say that usually CC's get rated quite well in the magazine but it is a pretty consistant 3-4 in the top 25. While they do not put out as many new releases as come out of NC's the list at the very least will be skewed towards...
It isn't a bad idea for your wife if you can't get her to carry a real knife in her purse. I always have a knife of me so I wouldn't want a cheap knife in my wallet as I try very hard to keep it as thin as possible. If I didn't carry a knife already I might buy order one of these
While the experience looks cool I am not a big fan of being touched that much. I can shave myself with a straight razor so will pass. Also I don't want anyone touching my eye brows. I am quite proud of the fact that I can make them look like peacock feathers.
Exactly my philosophy. I have quite a few cigar but intend on smoking them all so don't really consider that a collection. I have a lot of beer and whiskey but plan on drinking all of that so again not a collection. I have a lot of watches but I wear them and throw out the paper work as don't...
I love pappy. The 23yr family reserve decanter was a fantastic deal at $350 and would have been fair to $600. That said when the 20yr is going for $600 something is wrong. I look at in the fact that bourbons are tougher to age for as long as scotches just due to climate differences but their...
Now I have to ask as a fairly devout bourbon drinker what is really going on with the pappy kool aid. I love pappy and used to consider it a deal but something has changed when I get asked about a bottle of the 10 yr 107 proof for $150. When I bought the bottle in my desk it $55 in Canada and I...
Best Cubans I have smoked yet are old monte dunhill selection #3, davidoff chateau te tour and dunhill atados. More recent cigars that have wowed me have been serie P #1, Monterrey, h upmann 520 and short pyramides.
But in the end I smoke more half coronas then any other cigar
I use a single blade siglo seki cutter. It hasn't needed to be sharpened yet but I have a thing for crazy sharp knives so will sometime soon sharpen it. It cuts well now but I figure with a .5 micron polish it should be light sabre sharp
